Terret noir
Terret noir, with aromas of plum and redcurrant, is present in the blend of Côtes du Rhône, Côtes du Rhône Villages and southern Côtes du Rhône vintages, where it is appreciated for its acidity and low alcohol levels. This grape variety is related to the piquepoul family.

In the vineyards
Bunch and berries: Its cone-shaped clusters can be medium or large in size. They are made up of medium-sized oblong berries creating a compact and winged volume.
Maturity: Intermediary
Characteristics: Productive variety, sensitive to diseases (downy mildew, powdery mildew, botrytis)
In the cellars
Characteristics: Terret noir brings aromas of plum and redcurrant to the wines. Light in color, tannin and alcohol, it is fresh, with good acidity, which makes it an interesting grape variety in blending, particularly in rosé wines.
